It all started when…
My baby turned 13! I was inspired by a fellow photographer to capture this crazy, insane, and perfect moment of transition in our, not so little’s, life. One moment I catch a glimpse of the little girl I know and love ~blink~ I’m facing a woman who’s future I can only dream about ~round the corner~ there’s the little girl giggling with her sister. We all know its a hard transition for every girl themselves, but it’s not exactly easy on us Mamas either.
I’m eternally grateful for this video. It was such a fun bonding experience during suuuch a blah time! Like tween hormones aren’t enough but her birthday was shortly after the state shut down. And so…we planned the sets, amazon’ed daily, dug through both of our closets (and even her sisters) and laughed and giggled the whole way. I’m so thankful for this treasure I have to remember the giggles and the time I had to make a new friend.
Shortly after…
I was asked if I wanted to collaborate on a promotional video for a commercial client. Uhh yes please! And then to find out, it’s a bra company that makes bras for tweens, in the USA, using organic and ethically sourced cotton?!? hello! I was ecstatic!
We planned story boards, did a mini photo session and came up with a plan. The idea was youthful, joy and comfort in ones own body.
Includes:
1 meeting: call or FaceTime, Zoom, etc, to discuss the video project
3 hours of shooting time
2-4m video: based on length of chosen song
1 short cut of video: approx 30 sec
Single location: not requiring permits or additional fees
Licensed music for individual use: small business see a la cart additions
Access to my stored goodies for session: tutu’s, hats, biodegradable confetti, etc
